    • Prepare for Your College Placement Test with EdReady!

It’s free, online, will help you avoid semesters of Math and English remediation classes, and save more than $1,000 in additional tuition.

Once you are accepted at Hudson County Community College, you must take the College Placement Test (CPT). Your scores from that test will determine whether or not you need to register for and take basic-level math, algebra, and/or English courses that do not provide college credit and will not count towards your degree.

EdReady is a FREE, online, tutorial service that will help you prepare for the Math and English portions of the CPT.

Just click onto EdReady and register. You will then be given an individual assessment of your strengths and weaknesses with a recommended course of study that is just for you. The customized study path will be specifically designed to fill in the gaps that are unique to your own math challenges.

Current students: You can also use EdReady to supplement basic courses you are currently taking.

If you have questions about the College Placement Test or EdReady, email us at testing@hccc.edu or phone (201) 360-4190.
