College Closing

Please be advised that Hudson County Community College will close at 12:00 p.m. today, Monday, January 26, 2015 and remain closed through Tuesday, January 27, 2015, due to inclement weather. All day and evening classes have been canceled. The College anticipates to reopen on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, operating on a normal schedule.  The College will notify the community by 10 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 if there are any further announcements.
Registration will be extended to Friday, January 30, 2015.  Add/Drop period will be extended to Friday, February 6, 2015.

  • ENG-210 : Creative Writing

    Academic Level:
    Students will develop their skills as fiction, poetry and drama writers. They work at conceptualizing, composing, revising, and editing their work. They keep a writer?s journal, discuss assigned readings, participate in peer group criticism, and meet for individual conferences with the instructor. Key goals are to increase students? awareness of the possibilities of expressive writing forms, styles, and themes, and also to increase awareness of the creative process in its many variations.
