• Visiting Students

    Students currently enrolled in other colleges and universities who wish to earn credits at Hudson County Community College for transfer to that college or university must obtain advanced written approval from the appropriate academic office of the college or university they attend. Students must make certain they have met the proper prerequisites or co-requisites at their home institution before enrolling at HCCC.  Visiting students to HCCC must complete the following steps:

    1. Review HCCC’s College Catalog for all course information, including co- and prerequisites, and course descriptions; Verify course offerings for a given term by reviewing course schedule offerings.
    2. Complete an HCCC admissions application and submit along with application fee to: Enrollment Services, 70 Sip Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Please note: you must apply as a non-matriculating student (not seeking a degree).
    3. Submit documentation of approval/permission from your home institution to enroll and register for course(s) in a specific year and term.
    4. In the absence of documentation of approval/permission to register, you will be required to submit a college transcript verifying you have met any and all co- or prerequisites (all paperwork should be submitted together at time of enrollment to the Enrollment Services Office).
