Ms. Perez, whose clinical background is in emergency nursing within different community settings, has been in the HCCC nursing program since 2021. She began her career in emergency nursing at a level II trauma center catering to all age groups. Before becoming the Coordinator of the Simulation/Skills lab, she was a part-time skills lab tutor. Ms. Perez assisted the previous Coordinator with setting up skills testing and simulations and tutoring students. Ms. Perez enjoys creating an immersive learning atmosphere within the simulation lab for the students. She utilizes current technologies and high-fidelity equipment to create a safe and as accurate to life bedside experience for students.

Ms. Perez is currently attending Western Governors University to obtain her MSN in nursing education.
