Position Summary

The Information Technology Services department is currently searching for a Senior Audio-Visual Analyst reporting to the Help Desk Manager, position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Troubleshooting and correcting computer problems; identifying, evaluating, and selecting the hardware and software needed to provide solutions; supporting remote learning and services; providing telephone, face-to-face, and online support to computer users; installing appropriate software and hardware; connecting computers and peripherals to the campus network; working with the Help Desk Manager on projects as appropriate; working with other technical staff, and end-users; undertaking record keeping and reporting functions for the area of responsibility. The successful candidate will maintain a ticket request log, including updating user requests, work performed, and resolution. Performs other related technical support activities, as required. Participates in special projects as needed. Remains flexible and adaptable work schedule and work assignments as defined by organizational and department needs.

 

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of a High School diploma or GED with one year of related technical work experience required; Fundamental knowledge of basic systems analysis, computer networking, and data communications. Working knowledge of audio-visual standards and technologies.  Excellent oral and written communication, customer service skills, and the ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users with limited technical background are required. Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to effectively and respectfully function and communicate within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree with two years of related technical experience and technical certification preferred.
