August 6, 2020, Jersey City, NJ – The Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Department of Continuing Education will offer a live, fully online Project Management Certificate Program this fall.

Online Information Sessions about the HCCC Project Management Certificate Program will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 12 to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the instructor and have their questions answered. Project managers are a pivotal part of organizations in every industry. They set goals, identify measures of success, and ensure projects are completed efficiently with maximum quality. Those who receive training in project management add to their value and marketability. Increasingly, employers are screening project management job candidates for either the PMP credential or training. Globally recognized and demanded, project management training demonstrates the experience, education, and competency to lead and direct projects.

The 36-hour, six-week Project Management Certificate Program will run from September 14 to October 22, 2020, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, 6 to 8 p.m. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and processes of managing a project of any size in any industry. The program is designed to train students in proven strategies and practical, hands-on tools to drive successful project outcomes. Each class will be held live, via Zoom, for enhanced learning and full engagement.

Those who complete the Project Management Certificate program will receive a certificate of completion and a digital credential that shows they have gained the essential skills to be a project manager. The certificate also counts towards 36 hours of the educational requirements for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification exam.
