Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a need-based work program designed to assist students in meeting their financial obligations while attending school. As eligibility for these positions is dependent upon "need," students must complete the financial aid process before eligibility for FWS can be determined. If you have not yet completed the FAFSA, you may apply online here.
FWS is available for enrolled students during the academic year. For opening of FWS applications, look for information on the myhudson portal, emails, and flyers.
All required forms must be completed after the student has been hired into a position. Please see the Federal Work-Study Onboarding Packet section in the Onboarding Process page.
Orientation is required to all newly hired FWS student employees. You will need to set aside approximately 20 minutes to successfully complete the session.
