Biography

Brianna is the Senior Assistant Director of Advisement - North Hudson Operations & Development at Hudson County Community College's (HCCC) North Hudson Campus (NHC). She provides academic advisement to HCCC students in English and Spanish. Brianna advises students on the following topics: course registration, major exploration, transferring to a four-year college or university, and more. She is also actively involved in several committees such as the transfer committee, the CASS programming committee, and the JED team.

Brianna is a first-generation Latinx college graduate. She first earned her bachelor's degree in Family Science and Human Development with a concentration in Family Services from Montclair State University (MSU). She then worked in the social services field for two years before earning her master's degree in Counseling with a concentration in Student Affairs/Counseling in Higher Education from MSU. She has worked in the field of academic advisement and programming for the past two years. As a first-generation higher education professional, Brianna strives to provide students of diverse backgrounds with equitable services and genuine support throughout their higher educational journeys.
