    • Welcome to the HCCC Foundation

Established in 1997, the Hudson County Community College Foundation supports and promotes the College and its students by building awareness and developing financial resources.

In keeping with its vision that all Hudson County residents should be afforded the opportunity to acquire a college education and enjoy the lifelong benefits of that education, the HCCC Foundation works to find and generate the funding that provides scholarships for students, seed money for new and innovative programs, stipends for faculty development, and capital to assist the College in its physical expansion.

Helping Open ‘A World of Possibilities’ to the Community

Over the years, the Hudson County Community College Foundation has awarded more than 2,000 scholarships totaling $2 million to deserving students. Additionally, students benefit each year from the hundreds of Book Vouchers and Knife Vouchers (for culinary students) supplied by the Foundation. (In 2014, the Foundation provided Book Vouchers totaling $25,000 and Knife Vouchers totaling $7,000.)

The Foundation has also been the driving force behind the establishment of the College’s Permanent Art Collection, and has acquired more than 1,250 pieces of fine artwork that is utilized for teaching, as well as for the general enjoyment of the College and our community. It has supported a Life Skill College transitional program for 70 students, helping students to pass the College Placement Test, and purchased more than 678 books through a Literacy Grant for the College Library/Learning Resource Center.

The Hudson County Community College Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 corporation, and provides tax-exempt status to contributions.
