Dr. Sirhan Abdullah is the son of hardworking Palestinian immigrants who arrived in
New York City in the 1970s. He joined HCCC in 2011 and became a deeply engaged campus
citizen. Dr. Abdullah has been instrumental in developing many of the College’s online
courses, and served on the HCCC Assessment, Development and Planning, and Online Advisory
committees. He cochaired standard IV for the HCCC Middle States Self-Study. Dr. Abdullah
previously taught Health Science and Biology at Bergen Community College and William
Paterson University.
