Biography

As the Dean of Enrollment, Matthew oversees all Admissions and Testing operations, and is highly involved with everything from student recruitment to registration. Matthew is also proud to serve as an Adjunct Professor where he teaches the College Student Success course at HCCC.

Matthew joined HCCC in 2016, and has over 10 years of higher education experience, primarily in recruitment and enrollment. His current and past experiences have enabled him to gain valuable insight to working with diverse student bodies and organizations, and senior level executives, to elevate enrollment processes and procedures to better serve students. His primary focus is making the enrollment process as seamless and efficient as possible for all students, while also reducing barriers, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and preparing students for success at HCCC. Matthew is also an active member of the President’s Executive Council, Dean’s Council, Enrollment Management Council, Latino Advisory Council, African American Outreach Committee, and Development and Planning Committee at HCCC. He has also been recognized by and received Excellence Awards from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) and League for Innovation in the Community College.
