Biography

Kristofer is responsible for maintaining and updating both the external and specific internal websites of Hudson County Community College. He is passionate about web development and web design. Kristofer enjoys working with others to see website requests through to their completion and satisfaction. With every formal web request and project, Kristofer works with the requester to ensure that content is accurate, updated, and published to webpages all throughout the website to maintain the flow of information. Managing the college's website in its entirety is his pride and joy as he feels he is able to indirectly guide and communicate with all aspiring students through the website.

Kristofer is an alumnus of Hudson County Community College who pursued his A.S. degree in Computer Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Class of 2016 with a 3.8 GPA. He continued his college journey at New Jersey City University and pursued his B.S. degree in Computer Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude in the Class of 2018 with a 3.9 GPA. Due to his high achievements and extracurricular activities throughout his college journey, he is one of the rare students who was able to graduate completely debt-free. Returning to HCCC in 2019, he found his first career opportunity as a part-time web developer at the college. During the midst of the pandemic, when work was required to shift to a remote-only environment, he and his supervisor overcame challenges and were able to launch the total redesign of the HCCC website in May of 2021. Being a loyal worker to the college that granted him the opportunity to live out his dreams as a web developer, he was promoted to Interim Manager of Web and Portal Services in May of 2022 and became the official Manager of Web and Portal Services in February of 2023. His collaborations and achievements throughout his career allowed him to achieve Hudson Employee Spotlight in August of 2020, and he was nominated for Hudson Is Home (HIH) Awards in 2022 such as the Collaboration and Team Achievement Award, Innovation Award, and Inspirational Leadership Award. With his continued efforts and aspirations, he was nominated again for Hudson Is Home (HIH) Awards in 2023 for Collaboration and Team Achievement Award, and the Inspirational Leadership Award. Now he is recognized as a 2024 NISOD Excellence Award recipient, and also for the 2023-2024 League Excellence Award by the League of Innovation.
