Growing up in a family who valued education, teaching is a profession that Professor Krishan has always revered. During the first years of his career with the Indian Defense Research Origination in India, he taught Algebra and Calculus.

While working as a Software Engineer in New Jersey, he began teaching at HCCC as an Adjunct Instructor. In 2008, Professor Krishan became a full-time Mathematics Instructor here. He was awarded tenure in 2013, and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2014. Professor Krishan developed HCCC online classes, and the College’s Introduction to Probability & Statistics Honors course.

Professor Krishan also taught Mathematics at Monmouth University and Brookdale County College. He is a member of Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges of New Jersey (MATYCNJ) and Society of Actuaries (SOA).
