Professor Meguerditchian has been a vital part of the College since 1986. During her tenure as Executive Director of the HCCC Culinary Arts Institute, she facilitated key developments such as the College’s initial accreditation by the American Culinary Federation Education Institute (ACFEI); made adjustments to allow enrollment in both spring and fall semesters; implemented three short-term proficiency certificates; started the Culinary Arts evening and summer program offerings, including Summer Externship Abroad Programs in Amsterdam and Italy; and developed transfer articulation agreements with NJ County Vocational-Technical Schools.

Mrs. M, who speaks five languages, came to HCCC with a wealth of international experience. She was Food and Beverage Director at the Matterhorn Restaurant Hotel and Conference Center; Maître’D at the Appenzeller Stube; and traveled extensively as Director of In-Flight Services for Middle East Airlines/Air France. She was inducted in the International Who’s Who of Professionals and the Dame De La Chaîne. Mrs. M is the recipient of the National Institute for Organizational and Staff Development (NISOD) Excellence, HCCC Faculty Senate, and Distinguished Service Awards.
