Student Government Association & Clubs

Student Government Association and Clubs

We have over 30 student-led clubs and organizations for you to get involved at HCCC.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is responsible for raising concerns to students; serving as a communication link between the student body and the College Administrators to enhance student life - making your experience more fulfilling, more impactful, and one that you will never forget.

HCCC has chapters of the following Honor Societies:
- Alpha Alpha Alpha
- Alpha Sigma Lambda
- National Society of Leadership and Success
- Phi Theta Kappa
- Psi Beta
- SALUTE

Student Leadership Opportunities

Student Leadership Opportunities

HCCC is dedicated to building leaders to reach their goals and make the world around them a better place. In addition to taking on a leadership role in the SGA, clubs, and honor societies, we offer the following opportunities:

The Peer Leader program is a part time employment paraprofessional opportunity for students. In this role, students serve as New Student Orientation leaders while also working within a myriad of areas in the Office of Student Affairs and Enrollment, including Enrollment and Advising. Peer Leaders play a vital role in assisting new students from enrollment to graduation.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Passport Program is an online eight-week diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership program that will guide students through important topics to build cultural competence and allow opportunities for reflection and growth.

The HCCC’s student newspaper, The Orator, provides an opportunity for students interested in journalism, creative writing, photography and art to express their opinion and views regarding HCCC politics, community events, world issues, health matters, music, poetry, and more.
Read The Orator online at https://hudsonorator.com/
