Professor Connors is a community college graduate with more than 18 years of experience working in higher education. Her teaching philosophy relies on collaborative exchanges as a means of learning discourse, and is informed by her experiences as an instructor, a former writing center tutor, and her alignment with social-constructionist and transformative principles. She incorporates this philosophy into her teaching by introducing new concepts in familiar ways and then acting as a facilitator for students.

Professor Connors’ pedagogical and research interests include collaborative learning, digital rhetoric and literacies, peer review, and contingency faculty issues. She has presented her research at both regional and national composition conferences.
