Assistant Director of EOF

Ms. Tejal, as the Assistant Director, supports overseeing the Educational Opportunity
                                       Fund program with her EOF Director. Ms.Tejal also manages her cohort of scholars as
                                       their EOF Counselor, in the majors of STEM, Medical Science Pre-Professional, Nursing,
                                       Radiography, and Medical Assisting. Ms. Tejal also meets with families and community
                                       members to highlight the advantages of attending Hudson County Community College and
                                       participating in the EOF program.
Previous to working in higher education, she worked in the child welfare/foster care
                                       system for seven years between the Administration for Children Services in NYC and
                                       Office of Refugees and Resettlement. Ms. Tejal previously worked as a Clinician with
                                       the Office of Refugees and Resettlement short-term and long-term foster care program
                                       with unaccompanied minors who migrated from Central and South America to the United
                                       States due to fleeing their countries of origin. As a Clinician she provided psycho-therapy
                                       to unaccompanied minors to support them in the process of transition to the united
                                       states reunification with their parents/families in the U.S.
