The HCCC Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Division offers Associate in Science degree programs that prepare students to transfer to four-year institutions. There are also and Associate of Applied Science and certificate programs that ready students for careers immediately after graduation or that help students develop technical skills in specialized areas. Graduates of the STEM degree programs are eligible to work in mathematics, computer science, computer hardware organization and architectures, microcomputer and microprocessor design, computer programming, electronics engineering technology, and robotics, in the areas of design, analysis, testing, development, maintenance, production, research, sales, and more.
