Biography
Ruth works as an Academic Advisor at the North Hudson Campus, providing guidance and
support to students in planning their academic pathways. She meets with students during
drop-in advising sessions, assisting students with course selection, degree requirements,
and academic concerns. She helps students navigate academic policies and connect them
with appropriate campus resources. She also maintains student records and collaborate
with faculty and staff to support student success.
Ruth has a strong background in administrative and service support, with over six
years of experience in both academic and business environments. Her work focuses on
promoting student success, retention, and engagement by providing accessible, student-centered
guidance. She brings experience in onboarding, training, and supervising staff, as
well as supporting day-to-day operations through effective coordination and communication.
In addition to her professional role, she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Industrial
and Organizational Psychology at Saint Peter’s University and holds a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology from New Jersey City University. She is a member of Psi Chi, the
International Honor Society in Psychology, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational
Psychology. Her professional interests include organizational culture, workplace equity,
employee engagement, and student success initiatives.
