He is also interested in myth and mythology, creative writing, comparative literature, and speculative fiction.

Growing up, Dr. Youssef's bedroom had two closets: one for his clothes, the other filled with books, an ad hoc household library; this fueled his love of all things literature! Dr. Youssef has spent over a decade in academia, predominantly as a high school teacher and adjunct professor. In 2023, he graduated with his doctorate from Murray State University. His dissertation focused on narratology and disability studies.
