Dr. Youssef is an Instructor of English at Hudson County Community College. He primarily focuses on composition and rhetoric, research methodology, and contemporary pedagogical practices. Lately, he's been exploring how narratology and storytelling can be used as a powerful conduit for student growth and achievement. He is also interested in myth and mythology, creative writing, comparative literature, and speculative fiction.

Growing up, Dr. Youssef's bedroom had two closets: one for his clothes, the other filled with books, an ad hoc household library; this fueled his love of all things literature! Dr. Youssef has spent over a decade in academia, predominantly as a high school teacher and adjunct professor. In 2023, he graduated with his doctorate from Murray State University. His dissertation focused on narratology and disability studies. He was hired as an Instructor of English at Hudson County Community College in 2023, where he continues to explore his passion for the written word and student success.
