Biography
Sharon serves as an Academic Advisor at HCCC, where she supports students in navigating
their educational journey. She assists with course registration, provides guidance
on degree requirements, and helps students make informed decisions about their academic
goals. In her role, she is committed to creating a supportive and welcoming environment,
ensuring students feel confident and prepared entering the semester.
Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and has
a strong interests in pursuing education within her career path. She began her career
working with the TRIO ESL support program at Passaic County Community College, where
she assisted a diverse population of students in navigating degree pathways, while
also assisting in advisement. She later expanded her experience at Walden University
in Enrollment Services, helping to guide students through the onboarding process.
Through these experiences, she has developed valuable skills in student support and
communication, while deepening her passion for education.
