Career and Transfer Specialist
Kim is a Career and Technical Education Liaison within the Career and Transfer Pathways
Department, specializing in the School of Nursing and Allied Health. She supports
students by guiding them in developing resumes, cover letters, and professional profiles
on platforms such as LinkedIn and Handshake. Additionally, Kim provides career search
assistance and interview preparation. She engages with students through classroom
presentations and tabling events and offers support to those pursuing transfer opportunities
to four-year universities or colleges, helping them navigate the transfer process.
Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York
at Stony Brook, with a concentration in Industrial Sociology. After several years
in Customer Relations Management, she pursued a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources
Management at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada. This qualification led to a teaching
position at the college, which sparked her dedication to student support. Kim is excited
to be part of a student-focused department where fostering student success is not
only a priority but a measurable outcome. She is passionate about empowering students
to achieve their academic and career goals through personalized support, practical
