Biography

Mr. Mapp has been involved with education for the past 19 years, at various levels from primary school to university and in various environments such as Brooklyn, Harlem and Japan. This includes a background in teaching and coaching. He coached basketball, but primarily lacrosse.

Mr. Mapp is somewhat of a product of community college in higher education as his father taught Speech Communication at B.M.C.C. for over 30 years. He is committed to communicating and enhancing the communication for those around him. With a number of years as an instructor for ESL, Mr. Mapp will also engage in assisting students with ELL where it is deemed helpful. He is a member of the Nursing Program and is present at all meetings. Mr. Mapp hopes to share and gain knowledge and insight with the new students and graduating classes alike.
