Crystal serves as a Career and Transfer Coach, playing an essential role in helping
students explore their career options and transition to the workforce or four-year
institutions. She provides personalized support through one-on-one coaching sessions,
workshops, and campus events focused on career development and the college transfer
process. By collaborating with faculty, staff, and external partners, Crystal effectively
connects students with internships, job opportunities, and resources related to the
transfer process. She is dedicated to supporting diverse student populations—particularly
first-generation, underrepresented, and nontraditional learners—by fostering inclusive
environments where all students feel valued. Her goal is to ensure that every student
has access to essential resources and guidance, empowering them to make informed decisions
about their academic and professional futures.

for Poetry and received The Michael Reimer Student of the Year Award, honors that
highlight both her creative talent and academic excellence. Her experience at HCCC
fueled her scholarly drive and deepened her appreciation for the transformative power
of community colleges in creating accessible, life-changing opportunities. Inspired
by this experience, Crystal developed a strong commitment to student advocacy and
a desire to give back to the community that helped shape her. She went on to earn
a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management with a minor in Africana Studies from
Saint Peter’s University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication

and strategic communication, equipping her to support students through both academic
and professional transitions. Through her work and studies, Crystal continues to expand
her ability to engage, uplift, and connect with diverse audiences in meaningful ways.
