Biography
Josue teaches philosophy in the Humanities Department at HCCC. He also teaches courses on world religion. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is a member of several committees and is a faculty mentor for the Hudson Scholars Program.
Josue received his Doctorate from Drew University, where he wrote his dissertation on the French philosopher, Paul Ricoeur. Josue has taught philosophy at a variety of institutions since 1996. He also teaches philosophy of religion and world religion courses at the College. His areas of academic interest are in the thought of Paul Ricoeur, ethics, and the philosophy of religion. He has published several articles on both philosophy and theological issues. As a professor, he takes a student-centered approach to teaching and loves to engage students with the enduring issues that philosophy presents.
