Professor Saliba, whose clinical background is in psychiatric emergency services within urban and suburban areas, has been teaching in the HCCC Nursing Program since 2007. She began her career in Psychiatric Emergency Services working with children, adults, and older adults at a primary medical community hospital. Professor Saliba enjoys creating an immersive and supportive learning environment for students in clinical settings and as an educator she utilizes technology in a variety of settings to enhance programming and students’ performances.

Professor Saliba presented “Innovative Simulated Role Play to Enhance Nursing Students’ Knowledge and Attitudes Towards Death and Care of the Dying” at the New Jersey League of Nurses (NJLN) Convention; “Innovative Simulated Role Play to Enhance Nursing Students’ Knowledge and Attitudes Towards Death & Care of the Dying” at HCCC; and “Promoting Nursing Students’ Self-Awareness Towards Death and Care of the Dying Through Simulated Role Play” at Rutgers College of Nursing Center for Professional Development. She also presented “Utilizing YouTube in Nursing Education” at Advance for Nurses.
