Biography

Mylz Wilson serves as the Director of the Gateway to Innovation (GTI) program at Hudson County Community College, where he provides strategic leadership in workforce development initiatives. He directs program design, employer partnerships, and student recruitment to align with high-demand industry sectors. He is responsible for ensuring compliance with grant requirements, managing performance metrics, and advancing articulation agreements that connect non-credit training to academic pathways. Through his leadership, the GTI program strengthens the college’s role as a hub for innovation, employer engagement, and career readiness.

Mylz Wilson is a first-generation professional with family roots in Belize. Born and raised in New York, he has lived in several cities along the East Coast, experiences that have shaped his adaptability, cultural awareness, and commitment to expanding opportunities for others. His journey has included roles in healthcare, education, workforce development, and athletics, where he has consistently focused on building pathways that connect people to skills, careers, and personal growth.
