Proceeds from elegant, affordable dining experiences benefit students.

February 19, 2019, Jersey City, NJ – As Spring approaches, Friday afternoons are ideal for enjoying superior luncheon dining experiences with colleagues, clients, and friends. Business people and residents are invited to participate in Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Foundation’s popular Subscription Dining Series. Proceeds benefit deserving HCCC students.

Now in its ninth year, the series provides subscribers with the opportunity to enjoy professional chef-prepared luncheons from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Service dates are March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22, April 5, April 12, April 26, and May 3. Each value-conscious subscription includes a table for four at the eight luncheons. The cost is just $995, or about $31 per person.

The Executive Chef and chef instructors of the College’s renowned Culinary Arts Institute plan and prepare the meals. The menus include soup, appetizer, entrée, and dessert courses as well as non-alcoholic beverages (beer and wine by the glass or bottle are available at an additional cost; cash and credit cards are accepted). The College’s professionally trained student-chefs serve Subscription Dining guests in the Banquet Room of the HCCC Culinary Arts Conference Center, located at 161 Newkirk Street in Jersey City – just two blocks from the Journal Square PATH Station, and directly across the street from public parking.

The HCCC Foundation Subscription Dining Series was established in 2010 after several business people in the community expressed an interest for more dining options from the College’s nationally acclaimed HCCC Culinary Arts Institute program, rated number six in the country by Best Choice Schools.
