CUPA Award

The CUPA-HR Award honors transformative human resources work in higher education, recognizing individuals or teams whose leadership results in significant and ongoing organizational change. The HCCC award spotlights the continuation of all HCCC Human Resources programs and services, as well as the addition of new services, during the COVID-19 pandemic. These include the HCCC “Employee Spotlight Series,” “Professional Development Series for Employees by Employees,” and collaborations with the HCCC All College Council on “Steps for Wellness,” and with the President’s Advisory Council for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (PACDEI) on the creative “Our Stories Untold Series.”

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the HCCC Human Resources team has helped the HCCC community stay connected by engaging, communicating and celebrating HCCC faculty and staff, and their accomplishments, in new and enhanced ways,” said HCCC President Dr. Chris Reber. “The entire College community joins me in congratulating our colleagues for their exceptional work, and this well-deserved award.”

To support the College’s goals and mission, the HCCC Office of Human Resources provides services that promote an inclusive work environment characterized by appreciation, recognition, fair and equitable treatment, open communication, personal accountability, trust, and mutual respect.

“The HR team appreciates our collaborators, partners, and every employee who stepped up, raised their voice, nominated a colleague, spoke their heart, shared their talents and skills, and told their story,” said Anna Krupitskiy, HCCC Vice President for Human Resources. “We are proud of this recognition and grateful for all the support of our HCCC family and our executive team.”

Ms. Krupitskiy said that CUPA-HR will contribute a $1,000 award to the College. The HCCC HR team will allocate the funds to the new Hudson Helps Resource Center Career Closet.
