Hudson County Community College Foundation to Host 17th Annual Golf Outing on July 8

Proceeds to benefit HCCC students and College’s growth and development.

 

July 2, 2019, Jersey City, NJ – The Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Foundation invites residents and businesses to tee off and support higher education at its 17th Annual Golf Outing fundraiser. Proceeds from the event will be dedicated to the growth and development of the College, and scholarships for deserving HCCC students.

The Golf Outing will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, NJ. The schedule of events includes Golf Check-in at 8 a.m.; Continental Breakfast from 8 - 9 a.m.; Shotgun Start at 9:30 a.m. (refreshments on the course); and cocktails, luncheon, and awards at 2 p.m.

A range of sponsorship opportunities is available. Tournament Sponsor with foursome is $6,000; the $4,000 options are: Awards Sponsor with foursome; Breakfast or Lunch Sponsor with foursome; Golf Cart Sponsor with foursome; and Cocktail Sponsor; Hole Sponsor with foursome (includes VIP upgrade) is $2,200; Cigar Sponsor is $500; Individual Golfer is $500; Hole Sponsor is $400; Lunch Guest only is $100; Helicopter Drop Golf Balls (Three Balls) $50 or (One Ball) $20.

The HCCC Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation providing tax-exempt status to contributors. Established in 1997, the Foundation plays an integral role in the development of HCCC students, the College, and the community. The Foundation generates financial support for the College and its students, developing and awarding needs-based and merit scholarships, providing seed money for faculty programs, assisting incoming students in achieving academic success, providing for the college’s physical growth, and the cultural enrichment of Hudson County residents.

Since its founding, the HCCC Foundation has raised more than $6 million and awarded more than 1,625 scholarships totaling over $2,650,000.  The Foundation Art Collection, which was established in 2006, includes over 1,000 works of art – most by nationally and internationally renowned artists.
