Biography
June's title may be Administrative Assistant, but in working for the College for over 15 years, her accomplishments go well beyond what the title implies. She works in Student Services, where she helps the Dean with student conduct and discipline, manages the student handbook updates, and coordinates the distribution and return of Chromebooks.
Although this is her first higher job in higher education, June has over 40 years of experience working as an administrative/executive assistant in a variety of fields. June has accomplished a lot in her time at the College. She is a first-generation college graduate, beginning her academic journey at Hudson County Community College in 2013 with her A.A. in Psychology. She then went to William Paterson University and graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2020, she returned to school after four years for her master's. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2022 with her M.A. in Higher Education Administration. She also became one of three certified Mental Health First Aid Trainers serving the College. She received a certificate from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) in Effective Online Teaching.
