Biography
As the Clinical Site Manager for the Nursing Programs, Eileen serves as the critical bridge between the nursing programs and healthcare facilities. In managing logistics, contracts, and compliance requirements, Eileen aims to secure safe, educationally sound, and legally compliant clinical rotations for HCCC nursing students.
With over 47 years of nursing experience, Eileen has dedicated her career to advancing patient care, nursing leadership, and professional education. She began her nursing career as a staff nurse in oncology before transitioning to the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and ultimately found her passion in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she practiced for more than 33 years. Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles at the staff, unit, and hospital levels, championing excellence in clinical practice and patient outcomes. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to a position in Education and Professional Development at a large urban teaching hospital, where she supported the growth and development of nursing professionals. A passionate advocate for nursing education, she has mentored countless nurses as a preceptor, developed a comprehensive preceptor program for a large teaching hospital, educated healthcare professionals in the clinical setting, and taught nursing students in both university and community college programs. As a Clinical Site Manager, she continues to foster the next generation of nurses by promoting clinical excellence, professional growth, and a supportive learning environment.
