Biography
George works in the Advisement office, helping students with planning and registering
for classes. He also teaches the CSS-100 class.
George is an Academic Advisor with nearly two decades of experience working with community
college students. An advocate for students enrolling in High Impact Practices, George
is the Co-Director of the Atlantic Center for Learning Communities, a regional consortium
of colleges which focuses on promoting student success through integrative learning
and Learning Communities. George is also the Secretary of the National Learning Communities
Association. He has presented at numerous conferences on his work with Learning Communities,
Peer Mentoring, and Advising.
