Biography

Steffi works in the RN program, teaching fundamentals and medical-surgical nursing courses. She provides direct instruction, skills training, and clinical guidance to nursing students. She supports student development through academic mentoring and professional coaching. She contributes to curriculum delivery and program quality. She collaborates with faculty to ensure students meet learning and competency standards.

Steffi is an acute care nurse practitioner with a strong clinical foundation in critical care and cardiology, bringing extensive expertise in managing high‑acuity patient populations. Her career includes significant leadership experience as a Director of Critical Services, where she oversaw complex clinical operations, supported interdisciplinary teams, and advanced quality and safety initiatives across critical care departments. She remains active in the clinical setting, maintaining direct patient‑care involvement that strengthens her practice and informs her work as an educator. Steffi is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus in Educational Leadership, expanding her capacity to influence nursing education and professional development at a systems level. Her doctoral studies build on her dedication to evidence‑based practice, curriculum enhancement, and the preparation of future nurses for real‑world clinical challenges. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her commitment to clinical excellence, effective leadership, and her ongoing contributions to nursing practice and education.
