October 8, 2026, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is continuing a new fall tradition with its second annual Alumni Homecoming, an event bringing together alumni, students, faculty, employers, and community partners for an afternoon of networking, career inspiration, and HCCC pride.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural homecoming block party, HCCC’s second
annual alumni homecoming will take place at JJ’s Sports Bar & Grill in Jersey City’s

The event will take place in a relaxed setting where members of the HCCC community can reconnect, expand their professional networks, exchange ideas, and explore career opportunities.
“Homecoming is a wonderful opportunity for our HCCC community to come together, celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni, and create new connections that can help shape the future,” said HCCC Interim President Lisa Dougherty. “This year’s career focus reflects HCCC’s commitment to preparing students for success while strengthening long-term connections between our alumni, faculty, employers, and community partners.”
Tickets to the event are $45. The afternoon will include appetizers, food, and beverages; networking with HCCC alumni, students, employers, and community partners; an alumni success spotlight featuring advice and insights for today’s students with notable HCCC alums Jose Bustillo (VP, Delivery & Procurement Excellence at SpendHQ) and Daisy Vento (VP Delivery Lead – Technology at Bank of America) followed by a Q & A session; a homecoming trivia challenge; opportunities to connect with vendors and community organizations; and additional homecoming activities and surprises.
Alumni, students, employers, community partners, and friends of HCCC are invited to join the celebration. Come out, show your HCCC pride, celebrate being an HCCC alumnus, renew old connections, and make new ones.
The second Alumni Homecoming reflects HCCC’s ongoing commitment to building a vibrant and engaged alumni community while creating meaningful pathways between education, careers, and the workforce.
