HCCC to Host 50th Anniversary Alumni Networking Event on Thursday, November 13th

November 6, 2025, Jersey City, NJ – Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will host a special Alumni Networking Event on Wednesday, November 13 as part of the College’s ongoing 50th Anniversary Celebration, Fifty and Forward.
The event will bring together HCCC alumni and community partners for an exciting evening
of speed networking; professional connections; and will include tabling from a variety
of employers including PNC Financial Services, Women Rising, Soccer Shots and others.
Participants will have opportunities to expand their networks, explore career interests,
and celebrate the accomplishments of their fellow alumni. The newly elected officers
of the 2025-2027 HCCC Alumni Association will be announced and light refreshments
will be served.

The evening will feature a keynote address by distinguished HCCC alumnus Bladmir Quito, Vice Consul of Queens for the Government of Ecuador. Mr. Quito previously served as Vice Consul in New Jersey and as an advisor to Ecuador’s National Assembly. After earning his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from HCCC, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from New Jersey City University (NJCU) and a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs from New York University (NYU). Mr. Quito credits HCCC with helping him build the foundation for his future success. He is also one of the 50 Faces of Alumni presented as part of HCCC’s 50th anniversary celebration. Mr. Quito will share insights about his career path and his journey in public service and international relations.
“Our alumni are an essential part of the College’s history, as well as our future, as many of their stories are still being written. This event is a wonderful way for them to celebrate their achievements thus far, reconnect with the vibrant HCCC community, and start the next chapter of their stories,” said HCCC President Dr. Christopher Reber.
HCCC alumni are encouraged to attend, reconnect with old friends, and make new connections that can last a lifetime.
