Hudson County Community College (HCCC) President, Dr. Christopher Reber, is honored to join the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF), becoming the first traditional community college president invited to join the nationwide organization that also includes Miami Dade College, an expansive institution that offers associate and baccalaureate degrees.

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) President, Dr. Christopher Reber, announced that the College has received the 2023 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in America. The national award honors United States colleges and universities that demonstrate outstanding commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) serves one of the most ethnically and racially diverse cities in the United States, and HCCC students reflect that diversity. About 55% of the College’s student body is Hispanic. Many of these students are inspired to pursue and attain their academic dreams through engagement with administrators, faculty, and staff who share common experiences.
