HCCC President Dr. Chris Reber discusses the progress of the Fall 2020 term and plans
for Spring 2021, in addition to updates in enrollment and the continuing work of the
President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
HCCC President Dr. Chris Reber announces several faculty and staff achievements, and
the Return to Campus Task Force Co-Chairs, Lisa Dougherty and Heather DeVries, provide
updates on the College’s physical reopening.
President Reber gives updates on the Return to Campus Task Force and its work to facilitate
a Fall 2020 reopening; an update on the 2021 budget; and the continued programming
of the President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Following the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, and
the subsequent civil unrest, President Reber and the President’s Advisory Council
on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hosted a special Town Hall Meeting to provide space
and a platform of support for the College community.
President Reber provides updates on the approved fiscal 2021 operating budget; a return
to on-ground operations in Fall 2020; and continued discussion on Black Lives Matter,
racism, and intolerance.
