About HCCC Communications

The Department is charged with producing and distributing quality communications materials that are consistent in image and tone with the College’s core values and vision, and that present messages in a consistent, clear and understandable manner. These endeavors include media and public relations events and programs, audio and video presentations and commercials, and print- and Web-based publications and advertisements that are produced as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

The HCCC Communications Department is comprised of professionals — marketing/media experts, writers, graphic designers and digital technicians with years of experience in marketing, advertising and public relations.

• 2011 Eighth Annual Service Industry Advertising Merit Awards for Outdoor/Transit
• Higher Education Marketing Report’s 25th Annual Admissions Advertising Awards - one Gold, three Silver and four Merit Awards (2010)
• 2010 Third Annual CUPPIE Bronze Awards for Advertising (presented by CUPRAP, the Association of Communicators in Education)
• 2010 Seventh Annual Service Industry Advertising Gold Award, Silver and Merit Awards for newsletter, radio commercial series, outdoor/transit ads, TV ad, newspaper ads and posters.
