Official Transcripts

Hudson County Community College has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to become the service provider for HCCC Official Transcripts.

Official transcripts can be issued directly to the student or to a third party upon consent of the student. This enables participants (i.e. high schools, colleges, and other educational organizations) to securely exchange electronic transcripts with each other via the Clearinghouse secure network. Please keep in mind the following information about official transcript requests.

  • Transcript requests have a $10 fee. 
  • The NSC offers 24/7 online transcript ordering, tracking, and fulfillment.
  • The NSC offers electronic delivery options.
  • Mail and pick-up options are processed within 2-3 business days.
  • Status updates are sent by email and text messaging.
  • Current students can select “After Grades are Posted” or “After Degree is Posted.”

**Please be aware that transcripts will NOT be processed if you have a HOLD on your student record.

Electronic requests are processed within 1 hour after placing the order. Mail and Hold for Pick Up Requests may take longer to process during the holidays, registration, and grading periods. Please plan accordingly to meet deadlines associated with the request. 

Your credit or debit card is not charged until HCCC sends your transcript(s). However, if you use a debit card, your bank may put a hold on your funds while National Student Clearinghouse pre-authorizes your payment.
