Hudson County Community College (HCCC) was selected as one of 24 community colleges in the United States – and the only community college in New Jersey – to be named among the “2022 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges” by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD), in collaboration with Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

Among the 3,700 graduates who were awarded associate degrees at the Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Commencement exercises on Thursday, May 26, 2022, were 38 who will not receive their high school diplomas until later this month.

Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and Rutgers University School of Public Affairs and Administration (RUSPAA) have entered into an agreement that enables students who graduate from HCCC with an Associate of Science degree in Human Services to transfer seamlessly and attain their Bachelor of Arts degree from RUSPAA.

Starting this summer, Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will offer specialized programs in cannabis business.

Recently, Hudson County Community College (HCCC) President, Dr. Christopher M. Reber, and Montclair State University (MSU) Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Junius Gonzalez, signed a six-year transfer agreement.

On a sunny September Wednesday in 2011, more than 100 individuals gathered outside 4800 Kennedy Boulevard in Union City, New Jersey to celebrate the grand opening of the $28.2 million Hudson County Community College (HCCC) North Hudson Higher Education Center (now the HCCC North Hudson Campus).
