Students transferring with an earned Hudson AA, AS or AFA degree will arrive as a junior credit status and general education courses are waived. In addition, D grades and CLEP credits will also be allowed to transfer as part of the AA, AS, AFA agreement. 

Montclair 2+2 Program - Students can apply as a 2+2 applicant for guaranteed admission if certain requirements are met. www.montclair.edu/two-plus-two

Hudson AAS Degree credits in Culinary Arts can transfer seamlessly into Montclair’s BS Degree in Nutrition & Food Science - Food Systems.

Yes, application deadlines are recommended guidelines.

There is no separate application for EOF applicants.  However, all current Hudson EOF transfer applicants should submit the 1-page EOF Transfer of Aid Form.  The form is signed by the Hudson EOF Dept.

  • D grades are transferable if part of an earned AA, AS or AFA degree.
  • Pass (P) credits are transferable if the sending institution also granted credit for the passed course.

Joint Services Transcript credits are accepted.

  • Transfer Application $65.
  • New Student Deposit (after acceptance) $85.
  • New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students (freshman & transfer).
  • Mandatory transfer advising for all new transfer students is required prior to first semester course registration.

Yes! Housing is available to all transfer students. Students with 50 credits or more are eligible for “apartment style living”. 2 types of apartments on campus. We also offer traditional dormitories; single rooms and suite-style rooms.
