Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and St. Peter’s University (SPU) are proud to announce the HCCC | SPU CONNECT Transfer Program.
What is the HCCC | SPU CONNECT Program?
CONNECT is an exciting partnership between Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and St. Peter’s University (SPU). Students in the CONNECT program will receive personalized support and services to streamline the transfer process from HCCC to SPU. In addition to seamless transfer into Bachelor degree programs, through CONNECT+, students can also accelerate their completion of a graduate degree at SPU.

- Every Credit Counts! A specialized, aligned curriculum from HCCC to SPU ensures all HCCC credits transfer toward your selected SPU degree program.
- Dedicated Success Coaches. Transfer Success Coaches provide continuous support and guidance from your enrollment at HCCC to your graduation from SPU.
- CONNECT = Access. As a CONNECT student, you will have access to facilities and events at both colleges, including housing and sporting events at SPU.
- No Additional Application. Earn your associate degree at HCCC and then seamlessly transition to earn your bachelor's degree at SPU with no additional application or fees required.
- CONNECT Your Career. Enjoy special internship and co-curricular experiences that will prepare you for career success.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! The CONNECT Program is not the only way you can transfer into SPU. Your credits will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis and all transfer policies will apply to you. CONNECT is available to current HCCC students who:
- Are enrolled in an eligible CONNECT degree program pathway.
- Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Have earned between 0 and 30 college credits at HCCC.
- Enroll in at least 9 credits per semester at HCCC.
- Are not currently enrolled in another CONNECT program.
- Complete the CONNECT Declaration Form.
- Associate of Arts in Education (Elementary/ Secondary) to Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education
- Associate of Science in Accountancy to Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Associate of Science in Biology to Bachelor of Science in Biology
- Associate of Science in Business Administration to Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
- Associate of Science in Criminal Justice to Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
- Associate of Science in Computer Science to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- Associate of Science in Computer Science to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (AI/ Machine Learning track)
- Associate of Science in Computer Science to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (CIS track)
- Associate of Science in Cybersecurity to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Cybersecurity track)
- Associate of Science in Psychology to Bachelor of Science in Psychology
