There is currently no transfer application fee waiver code associated with the transfer partnership. Students should submit their transfer application through the standard application process and pay the applicable application fee unless they qualify for and receive a separate fee waiver.

Students can submit their transfer application through the Common App for Transfer and should submit all required supporting documents, including official transcripts from all attended institutions.

No, we do not. We encourage all students to apply by the deadlines. Admission decisions may be released on a rolling basis, so we recommend students submit their applications as soon as possible. This provides admitted students with ample time to follow up with their transfer credits and other onboarding tasks well before the start of the semester. 

No, there is no separate EOF application. Accepted students can reach out to our EOF office.

Official final transcripts should be sent directly from your current institution to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Stevens Institute of Technology. 

You can Send your official AP Exam scores to Stevens through the College Board, using the school code 2819. You can learn more about criteria for AP/IB scores here.

Stevens will consider grades of C or higher for transfer credit. Courses completed with a D, Pass or Fail grade are not eligible for transfer credit. Students must earn a qualifying letter grade in a course for it to be considered for transfer credit evaluation by Stevens.  

Yes, military credits may be considered for transfer evaluation. Students should submit official JST transcripts for review.

Yes. Stevens has a dedicated Transfer Admissions team within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions that works specifically with prospective and admitted transfer students. The team provides support with the application process, transfer credit evaluation, transfer partnerships and enrollment planning. The Transfer Admissions team is located in the Ruesterholz Admissions Center (RAC) on the Stevens campus.

Yes. Stevens offers a Transfer Student Orientation for new transfer students. The program is typically a one-day orientation and is held the week before classes begin. The orientation helps students become familiar with campus resources, academic expectations, student services and the transition to Stevens.

Yes, we offer merit scholarships based on the strength of the student’s application. Merit scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. Students must submit the FAFSA and CSS profile for financial aid consideration. Active PTK members will also receive a $5,000 PTK scholarship with proof of membership.

Yes, all transfer students are guaranteed housing their first year on campus.
