This course is designed to give employees a basic foundation of networking virtually or onsite at an event.

Are you a networking pro? Do you struggle to build relationships with your peers at work or events? Or maybe you want to sharpen those networking skills which are essential throughout your career.

Networking is the process of making connections and building relationships. It is not simply an information exchange between you and another person. It involves establishing relationships with people who will often become your friends and community of colleagues as you go through your career. These connections can provide you with advice and contacts, which can help you make informed career decisions. Networking can even help you find unadvertised jobs/internships. Networking can take place in a group or one-on-one setting.

Networking for success is an eight-week transformational program that will show you how to use your existing network to increase your leads, knowledge of affiliate marketing, understand the concept of having your own board of directors, and building a framework of your perfect 30-60 second elevator pitch when contacting prospects. This live online program provides participants with access to a networking professional who each week will go over topics to help you become a networking pro. Along with the weekly sessions, students will gain lifetime access to course materials online to continue reinforcing the content. In addition, students receive a one-on-one coaching session at the end of the course to evaluate their networking prowess.

Instructor bio:
Dr. Jairo Borja, DBA, is the President of Borja Consulting Group & Financial Services Professional with Primary Financial. Dr. Borja advises small business owners with business planning and strategy. Dr. Borja has spoken at several Fortune 500 companies, including New York Life and Mass Mutual. He has also spoken at First Calvary Baptist Church, Bloomfield College, and Central Florida. Jairo is also an International Best-Selling Author. His current book “Networking Your Way to Success: 10 Steps to Building Relationships & Expanding Your Business for Entrepreneurs & Working Professionals” discusses networking strategies and his ten years of experience working in higher education.
Dr. Jairo Borja, DBA, received his Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Walden University in March 2019. He also received his Master of Business Administration Degree in Management from Long Island University in May 2007. Lastly, Dr. Jairo received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management from Berkeley College in September 2003.
