Podcasts have become an increasingly popular medium that is reaching avid listeners worldwide. Suppose you are positioning yourself to become an industry leader or have a message that will inspire, educate or entertain others. In that case, podcasting may be the perfect outlet to amplify your unique message.
This beginners course is for anyone interested in creating, launching, and growing a successful podcast. In addition, this course will teach practical tips on how to start a podcast on a budget. There are currently over one million podcasts available in the Apple Podcasts directory, and the medium is booming. By the end of the course, you will be able to launch a podcast in directories like Apple and Spotify while delivering a clear and concise message to your audience.
So whether you're thinking about starting a podcast or need to level up an existing show, this is the right course for you.

Kimberly Sumpter is a podcast course creator, editor, and instructor. Before launching the Podcast To Empower course, she spent over seventeen years as a Radio Announcer, News and Traffic Reporter, and Promotions Director with a successful and rewarding career at major media brands including Clear Channel Radio, Service Broadcasting, and Radio One in Dallas, Texas.
Kimberly now mentors and coaches emerging podcasters with her signature "concept to launch" approach to find their unique voice as they craft compelling content for their ideal listeners. She's also the host of the Sistahs Connect Podcast and has been featured in the Podcast Business Journal, Authority Magazine, and Libsyn.com. Most recently, she was a featured presenter at the Podcast Movement virtual online summit. She has been seen on MSNBC, spoken at Podcast Movement and She Podcasts Live, and featured in Authority Magazine, The Podcast Business Journal, and Izzy and Liv magazine. In March of 2022, she was recognized as one of Libsyn's Women's Month podcast industry leaders.
