HCCC Faculty Handbook

This handbook has been prepared by the Office of Academic Affairs as a statement and summary of Hudson County Community College's (“HCCC”) academic policies and procedures, instructional resources, and student support services so that you may become familiar with them. We expect each faculty member to read this information carefully as it is a valuable reference for understanding your teaching role and responsibilities at HCCC. This handbook is a living document and reference source only, and it does not impose any contractual obligation on the College. The Board of Trustees reserves the right, through the President, to interpret and change policies or benefits as deemed necessary or desirable. The President reserves the right, through the relevant college review processes, to interpret and change procedures as deemed necessary from time to time. Informational resources and academic guidelines may be revised and updated as appropriate from time to time.
